How we handle your email, and your days
The same register as the product: plain words, short list, no surprises.
Who we are
Ebbo is made by Abstractify Ltd. When this page says we, that is who it means.
What we collect
Your email address, and which headline you saw when you signed up (so we can learn which message resonates). That's the whole list for this site. No names, no cookies, no trackers. What the app keeps is further down.
How we count visits
We keep anonymous visit counts in our own database: a number per day, per page, per headline. No cookies, nothing stored that identifies you, nothing shared with anyone. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we don't count you at all.
Where it lives
In our own private database, reachable only by us. It is never given, sold, or rented to anyone, and no third-party form service ever sees it.
What we use it for
Emailing you about Ebbo: beta invitations and launch news. Nothing else. No partners, no “related offers”.
How to leave
Reply to any email from us and say so, and your address is deleted entirely. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link that does the same thing.
The app itself
Ebbo runs on your own device and needs no account for the first 30 days. Your days, the names you keep and what each one is worth all stay on that device, and none of it reaches us. There is nothing to switch off, because nothing is switched on.
If you subscribe
Subscribing needs an account, because a subscription belongs to a person rather than to a laptop, and it has to work on your other machine too. What we keep about it is small: the date your free 30 days began, whether the subscription is paid up, which of the two plans it is, and the reference our payment provider uses for it. We never see a card number. On the Mac the payment happens on Paddle's own pages, and on the iPhone inside Apple's, and neither of them tells us anything about you beyond whether you have paid.
If you sign in to sync
Signing in is optional and exists for one reason: so a day counted on your phone is there on your Mac. Two things reach us then: your email address, and your days, sealed on your device before they are sent. We store the sealed copy and nothing here reads inside it. We do hold the key that opens it, because that is what makes a second device one tap instead of a code to copy across: we don't use it, and we would rather say so than imply we have no key at all. Deleting the cloud copy, from Settings in the app, deletes it and the account outright.
